My Grandma'S Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients

  • 6 c. day-old cornbread, crumbled
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 2 c. day-old biscuits or bread
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • salt as desired

Instructions

  1. Precook celery and onion over low heat until almost tender. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Pour broth over.
  3. Mix lightly with a wooden spoon.
  4. Turn into a greased casserole.
  5. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
