Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 3/4 cups uncooked oatmeal
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup vegetable shortening, melted

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
