Ingredients

  • 2 lb savoy cabbage
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • parsley, cut up
  • 1 potato, diced
  • 1 frying pepper, sliced
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Clean the savoy cabbage and let it soak in cold water.
  2. In a pot, combine 3 cups of water, oil, chopped garlic, and chopped parsley.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Add the cabbage to the boiling water.
  5. When the cabbage is half cooked (about 15 minutes), add the diced potato, sliced frying pepper, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add additional water if needed.
  7. Cover the pot and let it cook over medium heat until the cabbage is soft.
