Ingredients

  • 6 bell peppers
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 6 hot peppers
  • 5 pounds sugar
  • 2 packages Certo
  • food coloring

Instructions

  1. Blend the cut-up bell peppers and hot peppers in a blender until liquefied.
  2. Mix sugar, water, and the blended peppers in a large pot.
  3. Bring to a rapid boil and cook for 6 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add Certo (pectin) and food coloring to the mixture.
