Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups ground lamb
  • vinegar to taste
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • butter
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Fry ground lamb in butter until cooked through.
  2. Add chopped onion and pine nuts; continue frying until onion is transparent.
  3. Add vinegar to the mixture until slightly sour.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Let the filling completely cool.
  6. Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each dough circle and bring edges together.
  7. Brush the assembled pies with melted butter.
  8. Bake at 400°F until golden brown.
  9. Serve slightly warm.
