Ingredients

  • 8 large egg yolks
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • cinnamon for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix egg yolks with 1 cup milk.
  2. In another bowl, mix cornstarch with 1 cup milk, then add the sugar and remaining milk.
  3. Strain the egg yolk mixture through a fine strainer into the cornstarch mixture and stir to combine well.
