Ingredients

  • 2 blocks butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the butter, sugar, flour, and nuts (if using) with a pastry blender or two forks until combined.
  2. Press the mixture into a greased or parchment-lined pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
