- Add milk gradually to form a soft dough.
- Roll the dough to about 1/4‑inch thickness, spread with butter and brown sugar, then roll up like a jelly roll and slice into rounds.
- Place the slices in a greased muffin tin.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of jelly or jam on top of each muffin.
