No Egg Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix together butter, sugar and water until creamy.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well mixed.
  3. Place batter on plastic wrap and roll into 1-inch logs.
  4. Chill for 35 minutes. Cut dough and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for about 11 minutes at 350°.
  5. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
