  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 2/3 cups hot water
  • 2 tablespoons honey or juice concentrate

Instructions

  1. Mix together the whole wheat flour, quick oats, and salt.
  2. Add yeast, hot water, and honey or juice concentrate to the dry ingredients.
  3. Beat the mixture vigorously for 200 strokes.
  4. Add remaining flour and mix until well combined.
  5. Let the dough rise for 30 to 60 minutes.
