Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 tsp. soft butter

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add eggs, flour, salt, sugar, and softened butter one by one.
  3. Mix by hand until the mixture is moist and well combined.
  4. Seal the bowl and let the dough rise until it doubles in size.
  5. Divide the risen dough into 4 equal parts.
  6. Place each part into a pan and let rise again.
  7. Bake at 350°F until golden brown, about 35 minutes.
  8. The recipe yields 4 loaves, or you can use the dough for cinnamon rolls by adding cinnamon, sugar, and butter to taste.
