Noodle-Corn Casserole

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. egg noodles
  • 2 pt. sour cream
  • 2 cans creamed corn
  • 1 sliced onion

Instructions

  1. Precook the egg noodles; drain and set aside.
  2. Lightly brown the onion rings in butter.
  3. Add half of the cooked noodles to a 3-quart casserole bowl or 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
  4. Top with 1 pint of sour cream and half of the browned onion rings.
  5. Add one can of creamed corn.
  6. Repeat the layering with the remaining noodles, sour cream, onion rings, and creamed corn.
  7. Place several pads of butter on top.
  8. Bake uncovered at 325°F until hot, about 30 minutes.
