Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup fine egg noodles
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 can clear chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Crush the egg noodles and brown them in melted margarine until golden.
  2. Add the chicken broth and rice to the browned noodles.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the broth is absorbed and rice is tender.
  5. Optionally, add small, drained peas for extra flavor and color.
