Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. nuts

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9-inch square pan.
  2. Heat oven to 350°.
  3. Combine margarine and sugar; beat.
  4. Add vanilla, salt and eggs, then beat. Add cocoa, baking powder and flour.
  5. Stir in nuts.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
