A delightful nutty cinnamon ring with tender biscuits coated in cinnamon sugar and crunchy walnuts, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet snack to share with family.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/3 cup melted oleo

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle half of the walnuts in a 9-inch ring mold.
  2. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Dip each biscuit in melted oleo, then in the sugar mixture.
  4. Place 12 to 14 coated biscuits in the mold, overlapping slightly.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
  6. Top with remaining coated biscuits and remaining sugar mixture.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F.
  8. Turn onto a serving plate after baking.
  9. Let stand a few minutes before serving.
