Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1/3 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Place the oats in a blender container.
  2. Cover; blend for 1 minute until ground.
  3. In a bowl, stir together oats, flour, sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  4. Combine milk and oil; add to flour mixture.
  5. Stir until moistened.
  6. Form into a ball; flatten slightly with hands.
  7. Dampen work surface to prevent sliding.
  8. Place ball of dough between two squares of waxed paper; roll out dough to fit pie plate.
  9. Peel off top paper and fit dough, paper side up, into pie plate.
  10. Remove paper.
  11. Prick bottom and sides, flute edge.
  12. Bake in 450°F oven for 10 minutes.
  13. Cool and fill as desired.
