Oatmeal Scotchie Cookie Bars

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening (or substitute butter)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter/ shortening and sugars.
  2. Add eggs and remaining ingredients except oats and chips. Mix well.
  3. Stir in Oats and chips until combined.
  4. Spead evenly into 10 x 15 jelly roll pan, and bake at 375 for 25-30 until golden brown and toothpick tests clean.
