Old Fashioned Milk Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 cup cream (or 1/2 and 1/2)
  • milk
  • nutmeg or cinnamon, your preference

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, flour and salt in pie shell with your finger.
  2. Add the cream.
  3. Finish filling crust with milk.
  4. Sprinkle with nutmeg (or cinnamon).
  5. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes, then 350°F for 40 minutes.
