Old-Fashioned Teacakes

Instructions
- Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
- Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
- Add vanilla, milk and dry ingredients.
- Blend well.
- Place dough on a lightly floured board.
- Sprinkle a little flour over the dough and roll to about 1/2-inch thick.
- Cut with cookie cutter.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake in a moderate oven at 350° or 375° for about 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
- This recipe does not call for pecans, but I add 1 cup chopped.
- It makes them better.
