Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon oleo
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 small package vanilla wafers
  • 1 banana

Instructions

  1. Stir sugar, flour, and egg until blended.
  2. Add milk and stir until dissolved.
  3. Place on medium burner; stir often for approximately 5 minutes until mixture thickens.
  4. Remove from burner.
  5. Add butter and vanilla extract; stir well.
  6. Pour over vanilla wafers and banana in serving dish.
