Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add alternately with water to creamed mixture.
  5. Blend just until combined.
  6. Add candy.
  7. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch layer pans.
  8. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake is done.
  9. Cool 10 minutes.
