Ingredients

  • 3 sticks oleo
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Cream together oleo and sugar.
  2. Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
  3. Sift flour and baking powder together.
  4. Alternately add sifted flour mixture and milk to the creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
  5. Add vanilla and almond extracts and mix well.
  6. Pour batter into a tube pan.
  7. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
