Ingredients

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 4 c. flour, divided
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, scald milk.
  2. Remove to a large bowl.
  3. Add honey, margarine and salt to milk; stir
  4. until margarine is melted.
  5. Set aside to cool until milk is lukewarm.
