Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 can pitted black olives, sliced
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a skillet and drain well.
  2. Add chopped onion, garlic salt, pepper, and water to the skillet.
  3. Cook until the mixture is dry.
  4. Layer the cooked meat, sliced black olives, sliced Cheddar cheese, and sliced tomatoes in the bottom crust.
  5. Repeat the layering as desired.
  6. Cover with the top crust.
  7. Make 3 or 4 holes near the center of the top crust with a fork to vent the pie.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes.
