One Minute Orange Salad

A vibrant and creamy orange salad layered with fresh lettuce, pineapple, and optional toppings, perfect for a quick appetizer or light side dish to impress guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 small box cottage cheese
  • 1 small box sour cream
  • 1 small box Cool Whip
  • 1 small package orange jello
  • 1 small flat can crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Break up 1 head of lettuce in a deep bowl.
  2. Layer mushrooms, chives, parsley, chopped water chestnuts, and olives (optional) on top of the lettuce.
  3. Spread a small jar of Hellmann's mayonnaise over the layered ingredients.
  4. Cover the bowl with cellophane, plastic wrap, or a lid.
  5. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. When ready to serve, stir the salad and add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve as leftovers or a ready-made salad.
