Ingredients

  • 3 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt, pepper, sugar (dash of each)

Instructions

  1. Saute onions until they are clear and caramelized.
  2. Pour the sautéed onions into a prepared pie shell.
  3. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese over the onions.
  4. Beat eggs in a bowl, then add milk and powdered milk, mixing well.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese in the pie shell.
