Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Cut the round steak into serving size pieces.
  2. Brown the steak pieces in a large skillet.
  3. Mix water with the dry onion soup mix.
  4. Pour the onion soup mixture over the browned steak.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Add the cream of mushroom soup and stir well.
  7. Cover and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.
  8. Serve the steak with the mushroom gravy over noodles, potatoes, or rice.
