Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
- Combine milk and self-rising flour, mixing well.
- Add yeast mixture, sugar, shortening, hot water, and remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
- Leave in the mixing bowl to rise until doubled in bulk.
- Roll out like biscuit dough, shape into rolls.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
