Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. carrots
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut carrots into 3-inch pieces.
  2. Cook in boiling water until tender, about 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the carrots.
  4. Place the carrots in a 9-inch baking dish.
  5. Melt the butter.
  6. Add sugar and flour to the melted butter.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Add orange zest and orange juice.
  9. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  10. Pour the mixture over the carrots.
  11. Bake for 15 minutes.
