Orange Chiffon Jello

A light and refreshing orange chiffon jello dessert with sherbet and mandarin oranges, perfect for summer gatherings or a citrusy treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 small packages orange jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 pint orange sherbet
  • 1 small can mandarin oranges, drained

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the orange jello in boiling water.
  2. Add the orange sherbet to the dissolved jello and stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole or mold.
  4. Refrigerate until almost firm, about 2 hours.
  5. Gently fold in drained mandarin oranges.
  6. Return to the refrigerator and chill until completely firm, about 2 more hours.
