Ingredients

  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 6 oz. pkg. orange Jell-O
  • 1 can evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Drain the crushed pineapple and measure the juice, then add water to make 2 cups.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, cream cheese, and bring to a boil, stirring until the cream cheese is fully melted.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl with the orange Jell-O and stir until all is dissolved.
  4. Add the crushed pineapple and evaporated milk to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture into a medium Tupperware mold lightly sprayed with Pam.
  6. Refrigerate until set.
  7. Optional: Serve with a dressing of Cool Whip and mayonnaise if desired, but the salad is rich enough without.
