Ingredients

  • 2 cups broken thin pretzels
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 1 (6 oz.) large package orange jello
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 3 cans mandarin oranges, drained

Instructions

  1. Mix pretzels with melted butter.
  2. Press the pretzel mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 350°F.
  3. Allow the pretzel crust to cool.
  4. Soften the cream cheese.
  5. Beat the cream cheese with sugar and Cool Whip until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust and refrigerate.
  7. Mix orange jello with hot water until dissolved.
  8. Add juice from the drained mandarin oranges to the jello and let it cool until it is partially set.
  9. Add the drained mandarin oranges to the partially set jello and pour over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Refrigerate until fully set before serving.
