Orange Prune Bread

Instructions
- Pour 1 cup of boiling orange juice over prunes; let stand for 15 minutes.
- Cream sugar and shortening, then add eggs and stir well.
- Add prune mixture, flour, salt and soda; mix well, then add the nuts.
- Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
