Orange Rice Mold

A light and fruity orange rice mold combines citrus flavors with sweet pineapple and whipped cream, perfect for a refreshing dessert or party presentation.

Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg. orange jello
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 medium can drained crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • 2/3 c. powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine orange jello, hot water, and cooked rice, and let stand until slightly thickened.
  2. Add drained crushed pineapple to the mixture.
  3. Allow to cool until slightly thickened again.
  4. Whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the jello mixture.
  6. Add powdered sugar and gently fold in.
