Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 6 c. sifted all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle yeast over warm water.
  2. Stir until dissolved and set aside.
  3. Scald milk in medium saucepan.
  4. Add sugar, butter, orange rind and salt; stir until sugar is dissolved and butter melts. Cool.
