Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) packages refrigerator biscuits
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Separate the refrigerator biscuits into individual pieces.
  2. Combine melted butter and orange juice in a small bowl.
  3. Mix the sugar, brown sugar, grated orange rind, and nutmeg or cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  4. Dip each biscuit in the butter and orange juice mixture, then into the sugar mixture to coat.
  5. Stand the coated biscuits upright in a well-greased 1 1/2-quart ring mold.
  6. Bake in a hot oven at 450°F (232°C) for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Turn out the baked cake onto a plate to serve.
