Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sweet milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and butter using a pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix sweet milk, vinegar, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the wet mixture to the flour mixture and work into a dough ball.
  4. Roll out the dough to a uniform 1/5-inch thickness.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into desired shapes.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
