Ingredients

  • 15 oz. Oreo Cookies
  • 8 oz. margarine
  • 8 oz. confectioners sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 16 oz. Cool Whip
  • 2 small boxes of Jello instant chocolate pudding

Instructions

  1. Crush the entire package of Oreos to a fine consistency, reserving 1/2 cup of Oreo crumbs for later use.
  2. Mix the remaining Oreo crumbs with melted margarine and press into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan, pressing firmly with a spoon or spatula.
  3. Place the crust in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to set.
  4. While the crust is chilling, prepare the chocolate pudding according to the package instructions.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  6. Add confectioners sugar and mix until well combined.
  7. Fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
  9. Pour the prepared chocolate pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Sprinkle the reserved Oreo crumbs on top for garnish.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
