Oriental Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. frozen broccoli or 1 large head fresh broccoli
  • 1/2 medium onion, cut into crescents
  • fresh mushrooms (I use 1 pkg. of about 18), sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Boil broccoli about 5 minutes only.
  2. Drain immediately.
  3. While the broccoli is cooking, slice the onion and mushrooms.
  4. Cook the onions and mushrooms together in the margarine and soy sauce for about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Put the drained broccoli into a serving dish and pour the onion/mushroom/margarine/soy sauce mixture over top.
  6. Do not stir!
  7. Serve hot.
  8. (It's delicious with steak and rice.)
  9. Serves 4.
