Ingredients

  • 1 (2 to 3 lb.) cut up fryer chicken
  • 1/2 to 1/4 cup seasoned flour (flour, paprika, salt, pepper)
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter

Instructions

  1. Shake the chicken in a paper bag with seasoned flour to coat evenly.
  2. Melt butter or margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Place the chicken skin side down in the pan with melted butter.
  4. Bake uncovered at 425°F for 30 minutes.
  5. Turn the chicken and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
