Tips & Substitutions

For optimal flavor, consider marinating the chicken overnight in the buttermilk. If you don't have corn flakes, crushed whole grain cereal or panko breadcrumbs can be used as alternatives. Adjust the spices based on your heat preference; adding cayenne pepper will give it an extra kick. Ensure the chicken is patted dry before coating for better adherence of the breading.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the oven-fried chicken with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a balanced meal. It also pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes or coleslaw. For a more hearty option, consider serving it alongside Chicken With Spaghetti for a comforting dinner experience.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftover oven-fried chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place it in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes to maintain its crispy texture. Alternatively, you can reheat it in an air fryer for about 10 minutes for a quick and crispy option.
