Ingredients

  • 1 box 4X powdered sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups sifted cake flour
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and butter well.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Add cake flour one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Add vanilla flavoring and mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
  6. Bake in a cold oven at 325°F for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
