Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 4 small carrots
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 3 to 4 potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Instructions

  1. Place meat in the center of a 3-foot length of aluminum foil and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
  2. Cover the meat with quartered carrots, chopped celery, and halved potatoes.
  3. Dot the vegetables and meat with butter; sprinkle with salt.
  4. Fold the foil securely to seal in juices.
  5. Place the foil packet on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in a 450°F oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Serve hot.
