Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (10 1/4 oz.) cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 package (10 oz.) frozen creamed spinach
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 can (8 oz.) oysters
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Instructions

  1. Stir milk into the cream of chicken or mushroom soup in a saucepan.
  2. Add the frozen creamed spinach to the mixture.
  3. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes over gentle heat.
  4. Stir in the white wine, oysters with their liquid, and white pepper.
  5. Heat the mixture well; if using fresh oysters, allow about 10 minutes of cooking time.
