A comforting baked chicken and rice casserole seasoned with onion soup mix and creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups raw rice
  • 6 to 8 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 package Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cans water

Instructions

  1. Lightly oil a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Add raw rice to the dish.
  3. Place boneless chicken breasts on top of the rice.
  4. Sprinkle Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
  5. Pour one can of cream of mushroom soup over the chicken and rice.
  6. Add two cans of water to the dish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake at 325°F (163°C) for 2 hours.
