Ozark Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. diced apples, peeled and cored
  • 1/2 c. golden raisins
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla; blend well.
  2. Add in order diced apples, chopped pecans, golden raisins, flour, salt and soda.
  3. Blend well.
  4. Pour into
  5. a tube cake pan that has been pre-sprayed with no-stick cooking spray.
  6. Bake in 350° preheated oven about 1 hour.
