Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless meat
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. Arabic spices
  • 4 c. water
  • 6 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 c. rice

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet.
  2. Add meat, salt, pepper, cumin, and Arabic spices.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes until meat is browned and fragrant.
  4. Add peas and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Add water and bring to a boil.
  6. Add washed rice to the boiling water and cook until rice is tender.
