  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. melted shortening

  1. Mix all ingredients in the order given: eggs, milk, cream, baking powder, salt, sugar, flour, and melted shortening.
  2. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
