Ingredients

  • 2 (16 oz.) cans cream-style corn
  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 (7 oz.) can Ortega green chilies
  • 1/2 pound Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chilies and cheese.
  2. Mix well. Turn half the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
  3. Cover with sliced green chilies and cheese slices.
  4. Spread remaining batter over the cheese and chilies.
  5. Refrigerate if preparing early in the day.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes or until brown.
