Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 large baking potatoes
  • melted butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Wash potatoes and slice into 1/4-inch pieces.
  2. Butter a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex pan.
  3. Layer potato slices in the pan.
  4. Brush the layer with melted butter, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add another layer of potatoes and repeat the process.
  6. Continue layering until all potatoes are used.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C), uncovered, until a fork goes through easily, about 1 hour.
